Well, if you’ve stumbled onto this blog and are looking around, then you must be insane. Why? Because I’m insane and only fellow insane people care about what’s going on in my life! And let’s be honest most of us ARE a little insane.

If you don’t know what my name is then why are you here? You should at least know that prior to reading a blog about them.
So because I believe you should know my name I will not indulge in saying “HI! My name is____________!!!”

I am currently going to the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities for a Bachelors of Science in Genetics and a minor in Asian Languages and Literature specifically focusing on Japanese. I am currently in the process of becoming an intern in Dr. Neil Olszewski working with Arabidopsis.

I still live in my home town and still hang with the same crowd. I miss lots of different people who are living further away or are too busy to meet up with but I still manage to get together with them at some point. I have many close friends but those who are truly dear to me are those who actually read my blog.

I am currently finishing my senior year at the U of M and will hopefully graduate in Spring 2010. I will then proceed to work at Lane Bryant (my current part-time job) to gain some funds to hopefully move out. I am currently looking at graduate schools all across the US. I do wish to enter a Master’s program or Ph. D program for Genetics.

My current goal is to go to Japan and as of right now I have a buddy who I am working with on this goal. We both are hoping to go to Japan next summer. We’re ready for it!
